CANDLES

◠ Are your candles hand-poured? Yes — every single one. Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using clean, high-quality ingredients. No mass production, no shortcuts. Because of this, each candle has a slightly unique character, which we think makes them better.

◠ What are your candles made from? Our candles are made with a clean-burning soy wax blend, a cotton wick, and premium fragrance. We formulate each scent to fill a room without being overwhelming — the goal is atmosphere, not assault. We avoid phthalates and prioritize ingredients that are as clean as they are beautifully scented.

◠ How long will my candle burn? Our candles burn for approximately 35–40 hours with proper care. To get the most out of your candle: always burn it until the wax pool reaches the edges on the first use (this prevents tunneling), trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn, and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

◠ How long will it take to receive my candle order? Because our candles are made by hand in small batches, larger orders require a little extra time and love. Please allow 10–14 days for candle orders to ship. We'll always let you know if there's any delay, and we promise it's worth the wait. Individual candle orders typically ship faster — within 5–7 days.

◠ Can I use the candle as part of a ritual? Absolutely — that's exactly what it's designed for. Lighting your IDYLHOUR candle is the first step in our process: it signals to your nervous system that something intentional is beginning. The act of lighting it is itself a reset. AROMATHERAPY ROLLERS

◠ What is an aromatherapy roller? An aromatherapy roller is a small glass bottle filled with a blend of pure essential oils suspended in a nourishing carrier oil (we use sweet almond oil). You roll it directly onto your skin — typically pulse points like your wrists, temples, or the base of your throat — and breathe in the scent intentionally. It's a pocket-sized ritual you can use anywhere.

◠ How do I use the roller? Apply to pulse points — your wrists, inner elbows, temples, or the base of your throat are all ideal. These areas are warm, which helps diffuse the scent naturally. After applying, hold your wrists close to your nose, close your eyes, and take one slow breath in. That's it. That's the reset.

◠ What essential oils do you use? Each roller blend is formulated with pure essential oils chosen for both their aromatic quality and their effect on the nervous system. Every scent in our collection has its own intention — from grounding and calming to clarifying and energizing. You can read the specific ingredients on each product page.

◠ Is the roller safe for sensitive skin? Our rollers are formulated with sweet almond oil as the carrier, which is gentle and well-tolerated by most skin types. That said, essential oils are potent and everyone's skin is different. We recommend doing a small patch test on your inner arm before your first use. If you have a known nut allergy, please check the ingredient list before purchasing as sweet almond oil is tree nut-derived.

◠ How long will a roller last? With regular daily use, a 10ml roller typically lasts 2–3 months. A little goes a long way — two or three rolls per use is plenty.

◠ Can I use the roller and the candle together? Yes — and we'd encourage it. We designed our candle and roller set specifically for this reason. Using both together deepens the ritual: the candle sets the environment, the roller marks it on your body. Scent creates memory, and using them as a pair builds a powerful association your nervous system will learn to recognize over time.

ORDERS & SHIPPING

◠ How soon will I receive my order? Aromatherapy rollers typically ship within 3–5 business days. Candle orders, because they are hand-poured in small batches, may take 10–14 days to ship. We'll always send a shipping confirmation when your order is on its way.

◠ Do you ship internationally? We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is something we're exploring for the future — if you're outside the US and interested, feel free to reach out through our Contact page and we'll keep you posted.

◠ What is your return policy? Because our products are handmade and personal care items, we are not able to accept returns. That said, we care deeply about your experience. If something arrives damaged or there's an issue with your order, please reach out and we'll make it right.
